Energy back to grid

Can i ask why battery set up , exports sone of the PV generated electric back nto the grid before its fully charged the battery- can this be altered ?

I have noticed that as it approaches 100%, above 95%, it starts to throttle back the power it is putting into the battery, so whats left will go to the grid. I think it must be to be kinder to battery life or something.

I have also noticed once it gets to 100% it starts to slowly discharge to the grid down to 95% and then starts charging again. I have no idea why it does that as it seems like more wear on the battery and is annoying because when the sun sets it can be left at 95% instead of 100%. The same happens when charging from the grid. It doesn't seem to like sitting at 100%.

nophead my hybrid inverters hold the battery at 100% but do slow down as it approaches being full.

I think the drifting down to 95% maybe an all in one behaviour?

I haven't got an all in one. I have a Gen 3 hybrid inverter and a separate battery installed a couple of weeks ago.
