I am going to email GE today as my installer has just told me GE are now offering a FREE warranty for 12 years.
I paid £450 to extend my warranty from 5 years to 10 years on the 17th August 2023 so feel a bit seen off. And have asked if I can get a refund or have my warranty extended to 12 years.
I would suggest we all get on to GE.

To summarise -
"Will you be backdating existing warranties?
No. While we appreciate that some customers may have missed out on the longer warranty by a narrow window, there ultimately has to be a cut-off point between old and new policies. So, we’re keeping it simple by rolling out the 12 year warranty effective as of 11/09/2023 only"
I got the same, I was expecting a NO but wanted to try, as I was within 25 days.
It would have been nice to say we are updating our policy and anyone that has had a AIO fitted within 30 days of this date and has paid for a warranty extension we will extend it to 12 years to say thank you for supporting GE.
