I know a couple of people have had the same issue as me with whereby the AIO drops off the network indefinately when charging at a certain rate (nominally anything above 4kW). I just got tagged on one of the Facebook groups by Paul @ GivEnergy and he's pushed out firmware D609-A609 which has seemingly fixed the issue. I have never been able to charge my unit at 6kW and during my test it worked.

The update will be available by request for now so if you have this issue and want to give it a try please get in touch with GivEnergy via support@givenergy.co.uk or if you're on the Facebook groups have a look at the following thread.

For the more risk-averse it will be available in the portal in due course.

DJBenson great news. Thanks for sharing. I have this issue and currently charging at 3kw as a workaround.
I haven’t had the SOC dropping issues reported but upgraded to bat ver 7. Now seeing a minor issue when charging, the SOC jumps from 92% to 100%.
Discharging looks normal
Out of interest, Did ver 9 require a battery cal ?

Sadly my joy was premature - whilst a test using the "force charge" option in the app seemed to work, a scheduled charge tonight caused it to die again.

@morgs no calibration required - the changelog of v9 is;

1. Optimize the 10-stage charge and discharge logic
2. Solve the problem that the server cannot be connected through WIFI
3. Solve the problem that the aging test time is slow, which does not affect customers

I'd still be inclined to give v9 a try as it will be the production version soon anyway but it looks like it doesn't resolve this issue.

Regarding SoC issues - I've seen it twice this week, drops from 18%-4% and 24%-4% with minutes between the upper and lower values.

I find it intriguing that everyone seems to be experiencing severe issues within the past week.

I've been experiencing this issue since day 1 (mid-September) but have noticed a few more people popping up on the Facebook groups with SoC issues...

Tried to edit my above post but couldn't, glad I copied and pasted this lol.

Also if GE push the update themselves the calibration can be skipped but I would assume if you done it from dashboard it would do one and tbh I would like a manual calibrate button in the remote control ui so I could see if that would help at all with the issue I am currently having but now im off flux due to the issues for now im not inclined to go spamming calibrations to test stuff lol.

Interesting I have never had the 'can't charge at 6kw' issue but having fun with the ' where the hell has my capacity gone'. Hopefully 609 fixes that.

I've not had any issues with capacity until essentially the last two weeks, first whole month in september was flawless, I upgraded to BMS 7 when I had a couple of issues, and that's made things worse

John Rogers That is why I updated, I was going to wait to see how others got on with firmware but then something weird starting going on so I updated. Biggest mistake since deciding to buy the thing.
