Charge Battery - only on Certain Days ( Gas Freetime Mondays)

Hi folks,

I have a new PV & battery system. I am in Eco mode at present & charge my battery to 100% at night using the British Gas EV Tarrif (9p per kWh). This works nicely at present

However, British Gas offer me something called "FreeTime electricity Monday savings" which is free eleccy' between 0900 till 1700. Weirdly, I don't see this anywhere in my contract and it only appears on their online "My Energy" tool.

So my question is, can I set my Inverter to behave differently & charge at different periods on different days ?

cshand not at present in the GivEnergy app or portal. You’d have to use an external scheduling tool like octopus r&d or home assistant to manage your battery charging for different days of the week.

The free time electricity looks great. Either Saturday or Sunday for free 9-5. Good to see suppliers other than Octopus trying things like this to balance the grid

Thanks - I shall look into that. If you look at the screen grab, there title doesn't match the days !? Very odd considering they already offer PeakSaveSundays ( half price electric between 1100 & 1600)
