Just been looking at my charging history, and I noticed that my AIO charge rate seems to max out at 4.9kW. Is this normal?
My initial thought was that as it has a 6kW inverter, 6kW may be expected. The data sheet says the maximum charge/discharge rate is 25A, which is 6kW at 240V.
(Apologies if this is a stupid question - still trying to work this thing out.)
Mine capped out at 5.9 when I used to charge it before I got to 10% of its capacity
One thought; my DNO authorisation was only for 5kW - has my charging rate been limited to match my maximum export rate? Is that a thing?
I would doubt it since an electric shower draws more than the charge limit, if anything your export may be limited but in no way should the charge rate have been limited.
The charge rate is limited by the battery on my setup. I have a 5kW inverter but the battery can only accept 2.6kW.

It doesn't matter if it is from the mains or from solar, my 5.3kWh battery can't accept more than 2.6kW charge rate. Does your battery have a charge rate limit?

Just to close this one off, the problem was an mis-configuration on my AIO, which meant that my battery charge rate was software limited. Not sure whose fault it was, but it was sorted out by someone very helpful at GE.
Last night I charged at close to 6kW.
