AIO not supplying all house power - causing grid import

just happened to notice that our AIO isn't supplying all power it can to house, despite having sufficient charge, which is causing us to draw from the grid. not great as it means we're paying grid import at a higher rate (on eco7 tariff) even though battery should be supplying house:

have checked inverter max discharge settings and it's set to 6kw.

am i missing something obvious?? thanks!

Something may have wigged out, try resetting to default settings to see if that sorts it, it has worked for some having issues.

Also has it ever provided full power to home, if not it could be something installer done.

JTG that's a snapshot at some point in the last 5 minutes, not a live view of things. It could be that the load had recently increased and the inverter is ramping up battery to meet it, it's not instantaneous. In those few seconds, the power has to come from somewhere.

If you want a live view, always use the GE app in Home mode and post a screenshot of that.

never trust the portal for absolute numbers, they are good to give you an idea but are not accurate enough to provide a full picture.

For example, look at my dashboard, import of 10W doesn't even make sense and in fact is not even happening. i checked HA live and no import is going on.

deepanshus Portal is jut 5m snapshots (or whatever you set in HA) and not live data, it was that state when it last updated, its just the balancing/handshaking it does.

Yes it will have actually been importing 10W but only for a second or so. The inverter has a control loop trying to match the power the house is using exactly but the house load changes and the grid voltage changes all the time, so is usually slightly wrong in one direction or the other. The smart meter averages it over half an hour so the net result is very close to zero and you gain or lose small fractions of a penny.
