I was just looking at the installation manual for the GE EV charger and noticed its RS485 port can be connected to the CT meter (expected) or directly to a Gen 3 inverter?
Does anyone know what does mean and if there is a difference connecting it to the inverter (where on the inverter?) directly rather than to the CT meter?

dragos.balaban I would assume that it can either have its own CT clamp to detect export and divert it to the EV, much like a Zappi, or it could connect directly to a Gen 3 inverter which will already have its own CT clamp feed and divert from there. It would also mean being able to automatically use grid only and not use the battery to charge the EV.

As for where, I'm not sure on that
