Switched to Octopus Intelligent - do I need to do anything on the GivEnergy settings? 🙏

Is that Intelligent Go (the EV one), or Intelligent Flux (the GE battery one) ?

Assuming the former, you probably want to avoid the GE battery discharging to the car. How you do this depends on whether you're using the Ohme integration, or Wallbox or car API-based one. Do you use Home Assistant ?

DD thanks I simply use bmw car app. Fortunately so far the car has not drained the GV battery.

KKT I'm not sure how that works - I thought that you had to use the Octopus app to schedule the charging, rather than using the car's app. But I have neither IOG nor BMW, so can't comment on the details.
Anyway, assuming you're not using an Ohme, the charging schedule is available from the Octopus servers, should you wish to make use of extra cheap slots you get outside the usual 6 hours.

DD You are correct. You have to remove all schedules from the car and Octopus produces its schedules according to the overall load pattern it wants to achieve.

You set a %SOC and a ready-time, and Octopus does the rest.
