How long should it take to charge the AIO from the grid

I have recently installed AIO and gateway and now that the solar generation is less through the day I have been looking at the battery percentage charge levels in the morning. I have configured the battery to charge from the grid for 3 hours at night during the off-peak period but I only see about a 30% ish charge level during this time.

I did think that as the grid will be importing 6kwh I would get more battery charge than this after 3 hours of importing.

Am I expecting too much or am I missing something?

You should be able to see on your main Power Graph on your phone how much is going into your battery during the charge period.

It’s possible that this was set up incorrectly - mine was. I was only charging at 5kW last week until GE changed it for me, and now I am close to 6kW. It was an install config error.

Take a look at the the Power Graph in the portal and see what rate the AIO was charging at and for how long.

Mine takes just under 5hr, at 3kw charge, it can be as quick as 2.5hr. But I dont see the need, I've 6hr window to charge it
So might as well reduce the load on the cabling, especially now teh ASHP, car and other tech is all demanding power at night.
instead of AIO @ 6kw and AC3 at 3kw, they both charge at 3kw in the exact same allotted time

TheDragon (GivEnergy) likewise, I’ve throttled back my AIO charge rate to 3kw. Takes 5,5hrs approx from empty to full during my 6 hour off peak window, allowing ASHP, EV and anything else running at night to have a chance.

TheDragon (GivEnergy) Same here to reduce stress on components and also prevents a comms freeze when charging above >3.5kW.
