Hello, we have a 9.5kwh battery currently and would like to add a second but have run out of room. I understand the 9.5kwh cannot be wall-mounted - is this correct? What is the largest size that can be?
Largest battery that can be wall-mounted?
The datasheet says they're stackable - does that help?

I've an 8.2 on the wall. Wasn't fun but does come with a wall mount. They are however supposed to be discontinued (although they still keep appearing so not sure when!)
snecklifter i have a 9.5 and its wall mounted
snecklifter I too have a 9.5 wall mounted. It is heavy and was a job for them to lift it onto the wall bracket though
I have two 9.5, both wall-mounted next to eachother and using the brackets provided. Not seen anything to say you can't wall mount them, although they are heavy! I'm considering a third but it means changes elsewhere. That would also be wall mounted if I go ahead.
I think Stackable refers to the ability to daisy-chain them rather than their physical position. I'll have to revisit and see if we can get something solid - its mounting to an external wall so its not like its plasterboard with some rawl plugs... 🙂
snecklifter my wall brackets are bolted into fairly dense breeze blocks with proper anchors. Seems very solid. Not given it a second thought to be honest. I could put some blocks underneath but not felt it necessary, unless there's something me and the installer missed?
I have 2 9.5 batteries and they're both wall mounted, slightly above the floor. That's in a garage on a backing against solid brick, so very solid. I guess that's to guard against potential leaks/floods.
i have 2 off 9.5kw wall mounted and they come with expanding fixings in the box although after the tech was having trouble because the stone wall was cracking with those, i used threaded barr and epoxy which was a much better fixing.
