Pretty sure it's the same battery.
EON advertised it as 5.2 100% and now have their own special firmware which their customers can opt into which goes further into the usually protected part of the battery - but perhaps it might not last as long, maybe?

Long story short, it was essentially a mistake all along and there never should have been marketing to suggest they were 100% DOD.
They are not like the other packs where they have a buffer built in so 100% /5.2kWh DOD is only achieved by basically running the cells very hard 100%>0% which will reduce the lifespan/cycles achievable.

E.on have obviously got them by the danglies as there is special firmware only availble for those installs sold by them to make them as near to 100% DOD as possible. Won't be great for the packs but that's for the legal teams to duke it out warranty wise down the line...
Surprised there wasn't more fuss from everyone who bought a 5.2 be honest.

hoggy I bought 2 of these from Eon. They applied the firmware after I told them not to after giv sent an email saying the 80% dod was for safety and reliability. Currently going through the ombudsman process
