Inverter setting for Octopus Flux

I tried to set up the system for the Octopus Flux tariff but the Timed Discharge option did not seem to work.

Perhaps give some more details: what you configured, what you expected, and what it actually did. Oh, and what firmware version you have.

Note that if you configure a timed discharge, it pauses battery discharge outside those times, rather than using dynamic discharge mode.

I tried both Timed Discharge and Timed Export. Neither discharged to the grid and otherwise left the system working correctly. How should I set the system up to use Octopus Flux? It charges OK at night.

Assuming you are trying to do what I want it to do - it still doesn't work! Won't do a timed discharge correctly as it doesn't return to ECO mode.

In the app:
Charge mode - solar + grid.
Start 2am
End time 5am
charge to 100%
charge power 3kw (for my system)
Dicharge mode - dynamic.
Discharge power 3KW (for my system)

The dynamic mode will try and meet your demand when its not in the charge window. During the charge window it will power the house from the grid as well

But we're guessing that OP also wants to force a discharge during the peak, when export prices are higher.

I am connecting through the portal on my laptop.
What is this dynamic discharge mode of which you speak? In Inverter Settings I only see Timed Discharge and Timed Export. What am I missing?
Yes, I want to force a discharge during the peak period 4 to 7 pm, without affecting any other aspect of the system's performance. (For the Octopus Flux tariff.)

Dynamic is Eco in the portal.
With some inverters Eco does not reset after a timed export or timed discharge.
Try WonderWatt or go to Home Assistant
