I have 2 AC3's and my meter cab the live cable is a short bend and spacing the ct's 25mm apart if difficult. Basically do the CT blocks need to be 25mm apart or just 25mm apart on the live cable? Due to the curve my CT's touch on 1 corner but thanks to a wooden peg are 25mm spaced on the lead. Image below, is this ok?

THALL put then both on the neutral instead, the same current flows in both (unless you have 3-phase).

stevelewis cheers. no 1phase here

Remember to turn the clamp the other way around!

I've got two CT clamps on my meter tails (two inverters) and pretty sure they are sitting right next to each other, not 25mm apart or anything.
There's a small bit of variance between the two meter readings but they are pretty close all the time.

What's the impact if they are not 25mm apart and should I be spacing them out?

geoffreycoan Mine showed different load data, at least 7% difference between the 2.

THALL could they be reading at different times?

TX200 THALL mine seem to be very similar as I said

6310 / 6276w
6191 / 6262
6083 / 6058

And those differences could well be due to the two inverters being read about 2-3 seconds apart

Close enough for me I think
