Will anyone form Axel energy Respond to why the saving session did not take place today to export to grid . I got charge put at at more expencive rate and no export . No a good start and very anoyed as if stuck to Octopus then would had £ 7.50 and bonus octopoints .

Hi - I had the reverse happen. Running on battery all day due to no sun. Then no top up - but discharge happened but App was showing powers going to house?!? Even ended with a battery that will not last the evening now.

After the savings event had taken place, only then did the grid export data show that it had exported energy . Is some thing wrong with the cloud data when the export for Axle in this period ? all otehr data was ok in thr exporting period.

Looking at the charts - looks like the battery did discharge - but it did not take a charge in the day. Noticed the app setting were updated to take a timed charge from solar/grid from 1530.

Think I worked out the discharge but not to grid issue! The 'export' to grid triggered the iBoost for the hotwater to think was exported so power was used to heat water. Once it was done - then you just about see the export start to work.

Warning Iboost users.

Hi
i think they had it setup, to only charge if you was under 60% and around 4pm hold power for the export at 5pm - 6pm

Initially worked for me but then settings didn't revert back correctly so Inverter went idle. Had to manually switch settings to ECO mode via the web portal as Inverter didn't respond the Android app control. Also had to manually revert the timed charging time from 15:30 back to overnight cheap rate.

My battery never discharged, it's still at 100% and will not discharge. Inverter is stuck at idle.

simont Go to the portal, inverter, settings, then reset to defaults and submit.
Wait 10 minutes then reset any charge or discharge times.

Mine was instructed to charge to 90% overnight then to 60% at 15.30. It held 60% to 17.30 then discharged for an hour. However it then held at 34% for 45 mins. Consequently I’m going to finish the day rate period with an excess of around 15%, imported at the day rate. I don’t understand why it’s holding the charge after the export.

TimHutchings thanks, tried that a few times and restated the inverter, still stuck in idle

I took the precaution of charging mine to 100% on eco 7 the night before.
Export took place as expected but when i looked at the settings afterwards-
timed charge from 00.30 to 17.00 was set (perhaps earlier in the day?)
charge up to set at 44% from the 100 i had set prior.

I manually changed it back to my usual 70% and corrected charge time for eco 7.
This was shortly after the export period so perhaps I didn't give them time but 44% is unfathomable.
exported 2.3 kWh
