Overnight, one of a pair of 5.2kWh batteries didn't charge up. Portal reported charge to 100% but I can see from the % reported this morning we only reach 40% in reality. The master battery is fully charged, the slave one has a flashing a green light (status is green, next light is flashing). Any ideas?
What do the SOC curves on the Power Graphs for yesterday/today look like? Any sudden drops or rises?
Woodstock sudden drop from 5% to 2% (reserve is set at 4%) - this morning it's been bouncing all over the place. I noticed the server pushed a date and time update (possibly as a result of me emailing in a support question).
But since then the reported SoC has bounced around alot:
Hmm, having dug a little further - it seems to drop SoC suddenly - and the battery goes back to one light flashing when under load. When it's charging the SoC is back to what is was and the battery shows all lights lit (nearly fully charged) - so something is wrong.
What BMS version? I had this on my 3 batteries. Upgraded to BMS 3005. Run a re-calibration. Been right since
Unfortunately I don't have experience of two battery operation but, having had something similar on my one battery system, I would try running a battery calibration and see if that fixes it. I am guessing that this will dump the contents of both batteries and then recharge them both to full. This is likely to take some time and could be costly depending on when you run it!

Yeah dont waste it.
The battery will fully discharge to its lower voltage. Then fully charge to the upper limit.
Setting the new 0& 100% marks. Then revert back to 5-95% running
As a follow up - did a battery calibration - complete discharge and recharge - and it seems to have fixed the issue. Slightly disconcerting to have this happen - will keep an eye on it.
@GrahamRead I was actually just looking into this for you, looked like a data anomaly in some of the cell readings, likely due to being on different firmware versions and not on the latest 3005. I can see you've resolved this yourself now and all looks to be running ok - I see you also sent an email so I'll remove that from our ticketing. Let us know if you still see anything.

Adam-Reynolds thanks Adam. Apologies I should have sent another email to close the ticket. Both batteries should both be on 3005, although I can't tell from the portal (afaik). It seems to be behaving today. I didn't update any firmware, just did a battery calibration. Will keep an eye on it.
Based purely on the battery display lights (slave would sometimes have different charge level to master by one or two lights) I'd noticed the slave drifting from the master over a few weeks before it finally went awol.

I have 3 batteries which have always charged at around the same rate but now 1st battery is 40% charged 2nd is 25% and 3rd is 54%. Been told by the electrician that fitted they charge up at the same time (which would seem to be correct in the past) to now be told by someone else that this is how they charge up. Really fed up with everything at the moment can you please explain to me what is the truth
