I've signed up for Givback and given them my times for cheap rate tariff charging 00:30 - 4:30

I had previously set scheduled battery charging for that time period.

Is it ok to leave it like that I should I remove that schedule from my dashboard settings?. Or does Axle just take care of it all remotely?

Thanks

axle takes care of everything remotely, although i would have preferred where it has an option to leave it to us. in my case, i noticed that about 30mins before the event they put my battery on pause and i started consuming from grid even when i had about 85% SOC at that time and i could have discharged full 1.5 hr without any issues... i unpaused the battery and ran the export manually at the start time.

How would that work with something like Agile?

Jellybaby no it doesn’t work optimally! That’s why I said they should have an option for opt in only and not messing with the battery.

deepanshus Thought so, yeah its a bit of a bummer you can't control charging it.

To be clear... (I assume) Axle only get involved on savings-session days, so the rest of the time you'll have to leave in place any scheduled charging you want. And I would hope Axle will leave the system as they found it, undoing any scheduling they did, and restoring schedules you had set. (I stuck with Octopus - for a small number of sessions, I'm happy to do things manually.)
