I hope this solves the SOC issue, so fingers crossed. It is now available in AIO Software Tab in cloud.

AIO Software Version A608-D608

  1. Optimize the frequency modulation speed of microgrid
  2. Added the single-machine AIO function
  3. Added the function of responding to battery requests force discharge
  4. Optimize BuckBoost voltage by adding feedforward filter to reduce Harmonic current
  5. Optimize offgrid RMS loop control parameters
  6. Solve the problem that the anti-reflux function fails in the battery SOC calibration mode
  7. New add Enable the microgrid set (Off Grid Mode)
  8. New South African certification and Australian certification
  9. The off-Grid overload buzzer alarms are generated
  10. Change the data receiving ID of the BCU

Already out dated 609 is out now see firmware thread

I went to 608 and it was bad initially as it seemed to not want to charge fully anymore only charging 7-8 kWh from 4%

I have had a calibration done this week and its now behaving but too early to tell, keeping clear of 609 for now which is being discussed in said thread

DreadorUK Yeah, I know the SOC have been quite hit and miss for some folk but 608 seemed to be a disaster for everyone, still couldn't believe I done two flat to full charges on solar alone on a 13.5kwh battery in the span of 2-3 hours when it was generating iirc sub 1500w on solar.

So far on the test one im on atm I may demand I never go off it as so far its in and out have been within the previous margin of error I have seen considering how portal displays info but previously it has taken 1-2 weeks before it starts getting erratic, only time will tell.

Jellybaby I've been on 608 since 30-Sep and my system is well behaved - no SOC issues. That said, I do cycle my system each day.

#6 NC

Pandorian Same. I've had very little out of the ordinary. Few drops from c20% to zero but nothing to complain about as in 99% of cases, it has still powered the house without issue until the next charge cycle starts (23:30)

Pandorian You and NC seem to be quite lucky, lot of folk hit with dropping down to 5-50% capacity.

Does anyone know what's new in 609?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a Battery Firmware update as well as the AIO Inverter or is the battery on v7 all good?

The Gateway looks like it is still on Software 005 (please don’t tell me it’s got to 007 and it’s a secret Mr Bond)

Daveb01 a new battery firmware is at beta and in testing. Feedback seems to be good generally (much improved over v7) but GE still looking at data and tweaking it. Hopefully not too long to wait but I guess won’t be rushed, they want to be sure it’s good across the board.

treborUK So far I am liking 24301 and for anybody that has been following my thread knows the implication of that statement.

Jellybaby likewise, so far I'm a fan of 24301 also.

Well three days in and 608 is dropping again so onto 609 I go

treborUK
+1 from me. One week in, and no issues with 24301

DreadorUK AIO 609 won’t change the SOC / reduced usable capacity issue as it’s only an inverter update. There is a new battery firmware on its way soon that will address the issue, currently being beta tested and looking very promising.

treborUK If the 24301 keeps performing the way it has they should just push that out and never work on it again lol

Pandorian hahaha, Well I know what I want for Christmas.....

Can't find any info of 609 though.
