EV Charger when on Inverter Control

My EV Charger is set up in Configuration D, so it’s supposed to communicate with the Inverter when charging the car (so it doesn’t drain the battery and such). The app refers to it as “Inverter Control”.

However in this mode, all the controls are greyed out which doesn’t seem right? I can’t start or stop a charge, or control the type of charge from the app. However I can control all these things from the web interface.

Anyone else have this behaviour? Figured I’d check here before giving Giv a call next week.

Go on advanced and make sure solar spilt is turned off.

Does anybody know if givenergy have actually documented what all the settings do ?? At this time of year I can't really test things out as my solar generation is rubbish.

Lab140 thanks for the tip on the solar split option. That did the trick. Wouldn’t mind a user guide!
