I am with British Gas, with a day time rate (30p/kwh) with a cheap rate at night (9.4p/kw) and my current set up reflects this. However there is also a half price rate on Sundays 11am till 4pm, but I cant find anyway to input this within my current set up. Is it possible to do this?
How much is it? Just out of curiosity.
The question is what do you want to do in that time? Charge the battery? Not discharge?
Depending on what you want to do, that will be your solution. But you haven't actually told us what is your current setup, and what that reflects.
FriarTuck59 The only way that immediately leaps to mind is to use Wonder Watt set up with your daily Start Time & Stop Time the same as your current "Timed Charge" settings and then it would be down to you to remember to set the 11am to 4pm slot on a Sunday in 'Timed Charge'. WW would then reset it for the rest of the week.
Hopefully it will also add to the pressure on WW to supply a multi slot solution!
FriarTuck59 I think I'd just set a recurring alarm on my phone for 11am on Sunday and manual select "Charge now" if needed via the 'play' button on the GivEnergy app, and then the same for 4pm to Resume.

rio911 So my current set up is the battery charges at the cheap night rate. We also charge the EV at this rate from time to time. I suppose I could tell the battery not to discharge during the Sunday cheaper rate. Will look into this to see if this is economic
FriarTuck59 It depends on when your battery normally runs out on a Sunday. It might be worth charging the battery for a suitable period during that time. to cover any normal shortfall.
