Am I missing something here?
The old "legacy" portal had a link to use Octopus Energy's system to schedule battery charging from the grid based on the 30 minute cost.
Can't find this under the settings option on the new portal.
Anyone any idea how to set this up as the my existing setup has stopped working and I want to try starting from scratch again.

phit03 Last time I tried anything via the Octopus Scheduler, I had no control of the inverter. Someone said this was not supported anymore.

browellm Does the scheduler work for you?

Huntzie I stopped using it, mainly because I became frustrated with the inability to make schedules that crossed 00:00, and I now do local scheduling with Home Assistant and Intelligent Octopus.

However if it's stopped working, check you are on the latest version of their inverter API. GivEnergy-API-2

If it's on the old one you need to delete that and add the API-2 version from the list. That might work.

Thanks but I deleted my device o the Octopus side.
The old legacy portal had a setting that allowed you to select Octopus to control the battery charging and plugged in the necessary Givenergy info before transferring you to the Octopus system to continue setup (at least that's my take on it not being very technical). That doesn't exist on the new Givenergy portal and the old portal is no longer available.

Octopus support seem surprised that Givenergy have pulled the old portal. I think they are playing catchup with the new API (which for some reason Givenergy describe as V1 and Octopus as V2).

Not sure if it helps or not, but I've been able to specify the octopus go tariff from the GE app itself, then it come up on the home screen of the app. On the dashboard though I've had to manually enter in the times. Might be totally barking up the wrong tree here but there is octopus options on the app.
