I am trying to force some battery out to Octopus as there is a saving session coming up.

Where on earth is the control to do that ?

Its grayed out in the Gateway (not that it worked when i tried it) and no control in the "Inverter" set up I can see. In the app all I seem to have is Dynamic mode (which is where it is and works normally) and a switch to scheduled.

Thanks

In the app set the Discharge Mode to SCHEDULED, set the time bracket and your full discharge power to 6000W and voila.
Alternatively you can set more detail via the web portal under INVERTERS and then the settings ICON (gear icon).

you could also use the Battery discharge button at the bottom of the apps screen and then just hit PLAY again at the end.
( you may need to activate QUICK SETTINGS BUTTONS under Preferences in the Main Settings (left top).

GaryS Yes thanks I did find the schedule in the app but its the wording in all the different places I find very confusing.
In the Gateway there is a option to discharge to grid - but that does not work
In the computer/cloud there are all sort of discharge options but none say they are to the grid - so the discharge I have running just goes to the house. Can't see how you make that go to the grid from the AIO cloud controls.
So the one in the app actually did send what I expected to the grid and then I manually put it all back.
I have not seen the Battery Discharge Button in the app ..... more experimentation.

IanSm If you discharge the battery - whatever is discharged less whatever the home is using at that time and whatever power the inverter needs will go to the grid - through your smart meter. There is nowhere else for it to go.
