Power is coming from my solar panels and the battery is charging up - why am I drawing even 20w from the grid?

From what i know if you charging with solar and your not getting a good amount,
it will pull a small amount from the grid to maximise the charging

deanjesper the inverter takes a few moments to adjust to a change in power, whether it's an increase in load or charging. And there will always be a small "handshake" with the grid occasionally too to get frequency and voltage.
