Does anyone have an update on when the linking of multiple units will be released? I'm very keen to fit another unit to our existing one. Last I heard was that the software is being tested but that was some months ago.
JamesFisher22 I too would like an update on this. I really do need to run 2 AIOs.

This WAS the reason I bought the AIO and it appears to be fading.....
I talked to GE at the Everything Electric show on Saturday and was told it is ready for release and imminent.
Brilliant can wait. Hopefully "imminent" means more than "coming soon"😄

I am not sure this answers the question, unless I am missing something here. The point was about having more than one single AIO installed as a unified system, the links you have provided all point to what I have today, a single AIO unit with 13.5kWh of capacity. I am after 27kWh or even more if possible....
My understanding is your installer will order an AIO without the Gateway and wire it up in parallel (eg into the existing AIO). Once this is done the system will see 27 kWh battery.
However GE may need some software/firmware update to allow this to happen on you original AIO
PW2 has breakers for each battery and up to 9 or 10, but the software supported this early doors and there are battery comms links.
I shouldn’t think 2 batteries to give 27kW is hard, balance and getting the inverts to play nice together might be the bit that needed work.

It's not ironed out fully yet I believe but it's not completely plug and play. I'm pretty sure you have to change / add RCDs in the gateway each time you add another.
The parallel ports in the gateway are a decoy, they are not looking like they can be used.
I have just downloaded the newest AIO install manual. Now I know why there are AIO only (no Gateway) for sale. It is not getting ready for the in parallel.

Daveb01 evm did a YouTube video recently talking about how AIO is now available without the gateway.
Daveb01 Not like they have any choice now they've (belatedly) complied with UK wiring regs regarding proper earthing in island mode - not all installs can have an earth rod installed so if the gateway is compulsory then they won't be selling an AIO.

Yes, what you say is correct - as this is from the original data sheet that I have from when I was researching the AIO for my installation
I have yet to see any wiring diagrams that describe this scenario however
I have not seen any wiring diagrams either yet. I can see the network connection in the AIO for Parallel In/Out.
I can see a connection in the Gateway, however not sure how multiple AIO will be connected. I can understand one but not six.
Daveb01 I assume they'd be in a ring circuit if there's just an in and out ethernet socket?
