New to the forum as system has just been installed and still being having snagging sorted (cracked tiles, certificates etc)
I am using Octopus Agile and am automating AC Charge, Battery Reservation Levels using the API quite nicely. (Microsoft Azure Logic Apps for any one interested)
The only real hiccup (will open discussions for other topics once I know they won't be duplicates) is that I get Inverter Timeout messages quite a lot for Battery Reservation instructions. Having read on this forum - close the app, home mode, cloud mode etc- but the issue really came to my attention as for example calling the API at 3am and saying Battery Reserveration Level X% please. Technically the call is correct, authenticated etc, correct integer value and so on, but I get an Inverter Timeout.
This morning as my AC Charge had finished; and as my BRL set instruction had failed to set the reserve level to 100% I had an active value of 4% and hence I am discharging the battery when I really don't want to be.
Manually I have used the app in both cloud and local modes - cannot set inverter BRL to 100% timeout after timeout; Use the GivEnergy cloud web site - same issue, use an API call same issue.
Now comes the interesting bit.... it's easier to show you the logs but please read carefully - note the value when it fails...

So in the above an inverter timeout only is occurring when I try and set the BRL to 100%. Less than that then great..... This is a bug surely?
Apologies if this is specifically covered elsewhere but I couldn't find it - and would really like an insight into why this is happening.
