Going to grid

Hi all,
I’m not sure how should I stop my electricity going back to grid. As I charge batteries on night due flux Tariff. But it seems always going back (not much) but is there any way I can stop it.

Are you on ECO, that will stop it.
How much is not much? In kWhr over 24 hr period.
50w for 10 seconds is half of b****r all and is probably the inverter just responding slowly

I suspect the OP is another who doesn't realise he's not seeing live data in any way, he's just seeing a snapshot every 10secs/5mins (depending on whether he's using the app locally or not).

FWIW the "leakage" to grid due to loads/PV inputs changing on a Gen1 hybrid is under 16kWh in 6 months here. ie bugger all as you said - and if there's an export MPAN in place then you get some pennies anyway.

The way to tell the difference is simple - read the smart meter export total and subtract the "meter" export total found under "My Inverter" on the portal. That's the "leakage" the inverter/EM115 meter doesn't see. Note that even if you don't have an export MPAN you can still read the smart meter manually to check the total.

My AIO was recently firmware updated to 0.609 (from 0.605) and BMS 8 (from 7) and anecdotally the "leakage" is a lot lower. I don't know if that's better reporting, faster inverter response, or just an illusion, but I think it's better (and that's what counts, right?).
