Hi, Can anybody workout why I cannot connect to the home button on the app, on either my iPhone or my wifes iPhone,however home button works on my iPad. Nothing as far as I can see has changed. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and restarted the router and now after a frustrating few hours of going around in circles I would really appreciate your assistance. I know it’s not really a big deal as I can still use the app,but it’s a little annoying.
Have you tried manually inputting the IP address of your inverter manually and selecting scan for inverter manually.
I have a similar problem. My app seems to lose the IPA of the dongle at irregular intervals. Answer: reinsert the IPA of the dongle in the app. Pizza /Settings / local monitor/IPA.
Sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to get it to stick. Hope it works for you.
Thanks for the prompt responses. I don’t know the address of my inverter. I’ve tried to locate it in my router,but there are so many addresses there. hhall ipa and pizza sounds like a night in for me, sorry but not tech minded.
I just can’t see why if should still work on my iPad?

Not sure what hhall is, but ipa is defo a beer. IP address is what they meant. 😃
In the device list, on the router, it might show up as HF21 or something like that.
Pizza menu, usually called hamburger menu, is the thing at the top with three horizontal lines.
You can go into the settings from there and hard code the dongle IP address into the local monitoring settings.

I guess IPA is just short for IP Address.
I had a similar problem as I have an iPhone and Apple restricts the information that the Network scanning Apps such as " Net Analyser " can report including the IP address. I had an old Android phone in a drawer and was able to fire that up and install the Net Analyser app on it. With that I was able to run a Network Scan and find the IP address of the Inverter. Once I entered that everything worked flawlessly.
Your inverter may be called HF-21 and will be in the 2.4GHz wireless section of your router.
IPA = Internet protocol address Pizza = the three lines top left on first screen of app.

In the App go to Settings, Preferences then View Advanced Options. Clear App Data then login again go to Settings, Local Monitoring and 'Scan for your inverter'
