I am in need of some guidance.
Not long after I installed my PV/Batt system, I had a bit of an issue, the exact details I cannot now recall.
After investigation, I was advised that a file was "stuck" and the internal dongle appeared to be faulty.
I was asked if I had a spare USB memory stick, which I did. I was told to ensure there were no files on it, load the .bin file I was sent and insert. This I did by formatting it and then discarded the faulty USB stick as I was told to.
All good.
Earlier this year the dashboard started showing the battery storage going ape. It would indicate 0% then jump to 100% and vice versa several times a day.
Tech help identified a "stuck file" and suggested I make sure there were no files on the USB stick and copy the supplied .bin file. Just as previous.
I checked the USB and discovered a hidden folder containing hidden files, which I could not get rid of. These, apparently, were written by Windows when I formatted it.
Tech help advised me that the issue I was having was because of these files, and why was there a SanDisk unit plugged in and where was the original?
After explaining the history, I was told I would be sent a replacement USB stick.
There is, currently, no USB stick fitted, which means that no S/W updates can be installed, the battery cannot do its calibration routines.
That was Sept. I have emailed and phoned multiple times but I still do not have the requisite USB.
Any suggestions? Does anyone have the CEO's email?
