I am trying to enter my import and export MPAN into my details but it never accepts my entry as valid. My understanding is you only need to last 13 numbers of your Supply Number?

I spotted this in the portal recently and similarly it says whatever I put in is invalid?

I had the same then I tried putting in the characters before/above it that appear on my bill. S 100 800 or something similar, then it accepted it. Not sure what the point is though

I am having the same problem entering my Octopus mpan's. Ive tried all combinations but none work. Giv Energy please give us a clue.

Our validation currently requires the letter S followed by 20 digits. I will create a ticket on our end to also allow the 13 digit number.

edit: we will also modify the text shown when hovering the information icon to better describe what we're looking for
edit2: after looking into this it seems that it should be S followed by 21 digits

I've been trying to enter the 13 digit number too with no luck, but after seeing Sam's edit2: I used all the numbers in the box marked Supply on my Octopus bill Starting with the S followed by what in banking terms would be the sort code then the 13 numbers, thanks for the heads up.

My Export has S followed by a total of 21 numbers, the Import has S followed by 18 numbers.

I was able to submit the Export # but I don't know where too as it didn't stay on my Account Details page?

The import # still shows up as an invalid #

I was lucky because my Import MPAN was the letter S followed by 20 numbers so the post from Sam D was spot on.
My confusion about what the MPAN format is came about because when I signed up with LOOP they only asked for the 13 digit number, however they had previously asked for my Energy Supplier by name.
In case other newbies look at this thread perhaps an example may help ... or not!

Just tried again and it has accepted my 13 digit number now 😀
