I want to hold on to my battery charge to use it later. How can I stop my battery discharging? I have it on "scheduled" with a time set for later today but it's discharging now against home consumption.

PeteF scheduled discharge doesn't always work the way you might expect, though it may depend on the exact hardware/firmware combination. On my hybrid-g3 system, 'sheduled' + 'home demand' means home demand until the timed window, then discharge at fixed rate.

The trick instead is to leave it on dynamic, and use another mechanism to inhibit discharge until the time you want. One such way is to use the timed-pause feature on the portal remote-control section - may apply only to some versions of the firmware. Another, if you are charging from grid overnight, is to extend the charging period up to the time you want discharge to be allowed - once battery reaches target charge level, it will hold that charge level for the rest of the charging period.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try those.

PeteF It depends on your starting point. If you are starting from a full cheap rate charge them just set the stop time of the cheap rate charge to when you want to start using the battery.
If you want to only let the battery get down to say 50% and then hold at a level until a certain time why not use Wonder Watt [(https://https://app.wonderwatt.com/) which will ensure that you get back to ECO afterwards.
