Hi All,
I’m sorry but please help me to understand As I have installed 9.5k Givengery battery and I am unable to figure out what wtts it should be. Like 9.5k means either 9.5 kilowatt or 9500 watt.
Now on my app is showing different data.
Please

Now don’t understand what is right. As my battery runs out very fast. Please help

Jayesh It is all correct.
1000w = 1kW
kWh = Energy used in 1 hour
Therefore 1000w used for 1 hour = 1kWh of energy used.

So, your 9.5kWh battery would charge in <> 3.16 hrs at 3000w (charge rate isn't strictly linear to preserve the battery hence the <>
Similar goes for discharge The battery would power a 3000w load for just under 3hrs due to conversion power losses.

If your battery runs out very fast it might be s 'State of Charge' problem or it could just be you have something that is using it. Can you post a picture of your 'Power Graph' which may give a clue.

Jayesh So, what do you see as your problem? It might be better if you showed the Home view. But it looks as if you've had some heavier use things on for periods during the morning.8:30 to 9:30 then 10:30 to 12. It's probably better to look at it in the Portal screens on your pc as you can get a better view and zoon in on time periods. You can get a much better view of: The kettle going on, the washing machine heating up, the dishwasher heating up etc. and match what you are seeing to your daily routine.
I guess your cheap rate slot is 02:00 to 05:00? why not use the whole slot? If there is a small overlap for any reason it is only minutes and the cost is peanuts, make the most of the charge period.
If it is any indication, at this time of year I have 14.7hWh batteries and regularly go from full to empty when there is no solar. I charge over a 7hr off peak slot 00:00 to 07:00, better days like today I'll probably end up with 40% battery left over so the charge rate will be reduced overnight.

POWER Vs Energy.

The battery is a 9.5 kWh energy store.

You can charge it up to 3000 W at any one time (or less if you lower the sliders. 3000 W is the max charge/discharge you can set, but you can lower it if you want). If you lower it it will mean it will charge or discharge slower.

So if you charge at 3000W in 1 hour, that's 3 kWh into the battery. If you do it for half hour you get 1.5 kWh in the battery. Doing the maths it will take just over 3 hours to charge the battery from nothing (or 4% is the lowest) to 100%.

By setting the charge power at 3000 W, effectively you are saying "charge my battery to 100% between 2.05 and 4.55 am, at a rate of 3000W". In reality, the max my 9.5 kWh battery can charge is around 2700W or 2.7 kWh due to the AC 3 inverter I have.
