New install battery discharged after first cycle and has not charged again for 2 days, was charged on the 11th for first time discharged by 7am on the 12th and has not recharged since, have tried changing setting like solar and charge from grid but nothing has happened is now evening of 14th. Is this what I should expect? Thanks for any help
New install battery issue.
Telling us what kit you have helps - battery and inverter.
Unlikely to get much solar this time of year.
What tariff are you on.
Did calibration complete successfully and you got notifications for it starting and ending?
Are you using portal or phone app.
Have you tried a forced charge using the phone app
What does the portal show now for the energy graph
SteveCook Thanks your reply, its all new so we are still on the fixed unit price incoming from octopus, we have are in the process of changing to flux but are waiting for everything to be ready. the battery is DX2237G388 and on the app it says this is at 0% 53.9v 9.5kwh capacity. We have had commissioning complete but nothing about calibration, we are using both the app and the portal, I have changed battery setting on app but it has not charged, says 1.30kwh charge and discharge in total, it says idle and has not charged or discharged today. I'm wondering if its not calibrated yet?
what is in your notifications on the portal

Only 3 things, a new dongle, commission started then completed.

It won't charge unless you either tell it charge from solar + grid in the app or there is enough sun to exceed the power used by your house load.
If you are on a fixed price tariff there is no point in charging from the grid, only from solar when there is enough sun. So normally you would set the charge mode to solar until you get a flux tariff and the change it to solar + grid and set the start and end times to match the cheap period.
When I changed those settings it didn't charge from grid, and although it says we are only exporting tiny amounts I wonder if it will sort itself out when next week starts, I will keep an eye on it. thanks for the help all the same.

If you enable the quick settings option in the app Setting / Preference and click on the play button at the bottom and select the battery with the plus symbol it should charge from the grid immediately.
