I've had an 8.2 kWh AC coupled battery for the last two weeks and noticed that it doesn't discharge to less than 8%. I see these two inverter settings 'Reserve % Limit' and 'Reserve Cutoff % Limit' and both are set to 4. Is the system adding them and that's why it stops the discharge at 8%? If yes, then is it correct that 10% of the battery capacity remains unusable.
My inverted firmware is D0.534-A0.534 and the battery 3002
8.2 kWh battery minimum discharge level
Same here, i posted a couple of times about this. Also I was having the issue not going above 90% charge either. Apparently a calibration might fix it - i'm going to try doing that before/over the weekend.
jd how do you initiate the calibration?
kamen I think you would be able to initiate a calibration by forcing a discharge to 0% in the inverter remote control and then a charge to 100%. However, if there is an underlying issue with your specific battery, it would be good to let Givenergy know so they can look at it and work with you to get it sorted. I'd email support with your inverter serial number and ask for help. They will get back to you :-)
Duh!! It's in the inverter remote control panel - Battery - Battery SoC Calibration!
Tim Thanks, I'll try the calibration and if there is no change after that I will contact GE
Was the option available to you? It has always been greyed out for me
