BMS Under Voltage + SOC strangeness

HY3.6 inverter, Firmware D0.450-A0.451
8.2kWh battery, Firmware 3012
4 times this month there are BMS Under Voltage notifications.
Also, the battery data shows SOC doing a quick dive to 0% at these times.
What seems to be happening is SOC runs down normally to 4% then the system stops using the battery. Then a while later the battery SOC suddenly goes up to 5% (or 6%) and the system starts to use the battery again. Then the SOC drops to 0% and the system starts to charge the battery from the grid until 4% is reached.

Is this normal or should I put in a support call?

I’m getting almost daily Under Voltage notifications since moving to firmware 3015. No issues on the previous firmware. I’m seeing exactly the same as you with the battery kicking back in after draining to 4%.

Ditto - I am getting routine under voltage notifications since moving to firmware 3015 and results in charge to 4% but often after a period shoots to 10-15% charged which then discharges.

I did send a query to Support and they responded by suggesting raising the voltage. Not sure how to respond?

Support replied. They said "This is normal of a firmware problem, you can update to v3015 on the portal which may help this, but until paired with new inverter firmware you may still get it - the health of your battery is perfect checking my end and is purely a % and voltage mapping error in firmware."

Having seen the 3015 topic I will stay put with 3012. At least it isn't a battery failure.

alan_johnston You'll have a very long wait for any new G1 inverter firmware (if it ever happens at all, which I doubt).

Follow up to this for any interested parties

I have adjusted my "battery discharge power" down from the maximum of 2600 to 2268 watts, and this seems to have resolved the undervoltage discharge dropout.
