Hi All, I have realised just recently my battery is not fully charging during the off peak period. I have made no changes and I have asked the system to charge 100% any ideas? Thanks Gareth
Battery not reaching 100% recently..
gareth0898 Is it starting from a lower value and running out of time? It has been a lot colder recently - it might be charging at a lower rate to protect the battery.
What inverter?
What battery?
Inside or Outside?
Has the charge power changed at all during the charge (Not what you see on app/website)?
What is the battery temps during the charge period?
Same here. My twin 9.5kWh batteries get to around 97-98% combined (one reports 100% whilst the other 91%) and drops down to 53w input power with occasional spikes to 600w or so. Meanwhile, battery voltage for both begins to drop off slightly (55.1v to 54.7v 30 minutes later).
Batteries are inside, pack temps are 15c approx.
Inverter Model
GIV-HY5.0
Software Version
D0.307-A0.307
Battery Firmware Version
3015
Edit: it just got to 100%. Looks like the second battery was lagging behind. It spent around an hour at 53w before finally completing.

Hi it's a 5kw hybrid inside an integral garage it's coupled to An 8kw battery. I'm using Octopus go as a tariff and didn't realise it wasn't fully charging but it's seems to be doing it often. Thanks Gareth
Hi all, I updated the firmware as nievely I assumed it was automatic. Still didn't fully charge...Any ideas? Gareth
gareth0898 Any ideas?
We probably need a bit more info... I assume charge window is 0030 to 0430, and charge rate is configured as maximum? Does it just charge slower than expected, or does it stop charging earlier than expected, or does the SoC not rise enough despite consuming 4 hours of charge at full power?
Perhaps post a graph showing the relevant params (power, voltage, temperature, SoC, ...)
