Octopus Power ups & PredBat

Figured this may help out others looking to have PredBat make use of the powerup later today in Scotland.

I added this to app.yaml to override the rate. You may need to change the time/rate for your area.

AdamM Interesting, so you are getting specific power up lower rates in Scotland on Octopus?

What tariff are you on?

Octopus are running a power up programme in the South East whereby we get free electricity at certain times. There was one on the morning of the 18th and another today, the 20th:

geoffreycoan Oooo interesting. Free is definitely a better deal than we get then! For us it's 50% off. I was on Octopus Flux when I was offered the signup for the program and I'm on Agile now and still receiving the invitations to each session.

AdamM that’s interesting, I wasn’t aware of the Scottish half price power up events with Octopus, only the free one they’re running in specific postcodes in East Anglia area which is 8n conjunction with the DNO to use up excess capacity in the network.
We had a few over Christmas, on3 earlier in the week, one today and as @PianSom says, another tomorrow evening. This is the first one we’ve had in an evening, they’re usually in the afternoon although we did have an early morning one a week or so ago.

...and now another Power-up 4am-9am on Monday 22nd! I wonder if we'll be able to hear the sound of the wind turbines spinning?!
