I'm using PredBat but I'm signed up to Axle Energy for the DFS. I've just been opted into the Octopus Saving Session automatically by PredBat, very clever, but I'm guessing the National Grid might get up set as I'm signed up for the DFS twice now.

  1. Does anyone know if I can opt out of the Octopus Saving Session, if so, how? I can't work it out.
  2. How do I stop Pred Bat signing me up in the future? I'm happy for it to control the battery for the session, as it will probably do a better job the Axle who never seem to charge the battery, but I don't want to actually be signed up.

Thanks,

WillC Please read the manual https://springfall2008.github.io/batpred/energy-rates/#octopus-saving-sessions

Tells you how to stop predbat from signing you up for saving sessions.

If you have Axel managing your inverter and battery for saving sessions then you don't want predbat to be trying to do the same - two things trying to do the same sounds like a recipe for a clash.
Suggest you create an automation to turn predbat to read only before the saving session then back to control mode afterwards so it doesn't clash with Axle.
