Our AIO / Gateway system was installed two weeks ago and so far, so good apart from early this morning....

This morning circa 8AM it appeared we'd had a power cut as the clocks had reset which of course shouldn't happen with the Gateway which tied up with a loss of internet some time before I'd got up. The battery had been set to charge between 03:30 and 06:00. When I looked at the energy data for some clues I found that the battery had been charged as expected but grid import showed zero along with no system data being recorded between 03:26 and 07:26. I checked the breakers in the Gateway and they all look fine and the system is now performing as 'normal'. I forced a battery charge earlier via the app and again, it worked as expected.

I'd be interested to know if anyone can anyone shed any light on what's happened? I've not contacted either the supplier or GE yet. Thanks in advance for comments / questions.

No internet connection means no data. There is no local storage on the device, its live connection to the cloud for logging, or none at all. So the gap is either due to your router being offline, perhaps because it was unpowered due to a power cut. Your gateway / AIO should have kicked in automatically, keeping the router up and the data flowing.

However some of us found that circuits were tripping when the gateway moved to island mode because the AIO operates in split phase, which caused Neutral to Earth faults to be exposed tripping the breaker. The breaker couldn’t then be reset until back on grid power because of these faults.

Once the N-E faults were isolated / rectified (in my case outside lights), the gateway and AIO took over seamlessly.

Joka748 while untitled-3 looks like it has recorded SoC rising throughout, it's probably just drawing straight lines between the datapoints before and after the cut.

Perhaps your router was fine, but the power cut took out some switchgear further upstream ?

26Left Trips due to earth faults I can understand but all mine were OK.

Same problem again today. This time I was awake and it was a brief interruption but enough to cause everything to reset. I will call GE today.

Update - GE upgraded the battery firmware to V.609 on Friday and I've not seen a repeat.

Same thing used to happen to me when I was on v0.605, but since being on v0.609 it hasn't happened. I assumed we had an earth fault somewhere and was skeptical of the firmware upgrade making a difference, but I can't deny the data, it hasn't happened since.
