On the older dashboard I used to use the energy flow as a monitor in my home for the family to see what is going on and I am keen to use the the card. Is there an ETA? Also how frequently will that card auto refresh? Would there be any option to set refresh rates on cards ourselves? For me 30 seconds on that card and the monitor card at the top of the dashboard would be great and all other cards I would be happy to only refresh when clicked on to reduce load on your servers.
It isnt imminent, but getting closer to the top of this list now.
For the refresh interval, thats a problem as the inverters only send data to the server every 5 minurtes, so if you refresh the page it will just display the same data. We are looking at options to increase that frequence but are balencing overheads to deliver that ( 30s data is 6 times the data quantity, 5s data is 60 times the data )
We could possible do the forced refresh and limit so people dont write bots to automatically keep pressing the button ;-) I will discuss that with the team

simon_swinburne That is interesting. I knew the mobile app only refreshed every 5 minutes, with the nice do you want your system to self destruct if you manually refresh to often..... But I am sure the Home Display Beta refreshed much faster than that?

No, only every 5 minutes.
You can see when the data is pushed up by going to your inverter card -> Meter data tab
simon_swinburne understand the cost implication of reducing the 5min refresh BUT I would find it a lot more beneficial if it was reduced even to 2.5mins for now and hopefully down to 30secs in the future - is this a realistic expectation? Thankyou (again!).
