I had my charger fitted earlier in the winter and has been working brilliants on a schedule for the last few months charging my car up over night on cheap power. Today is the first day I have been at home with enough sun to actually try and get the solar charging mode to work but what ever I try it just does not seem to work.
First I tried just changing the settings in the app and nothing what so ever would happen. Solar, hybrid and grid all did nothing. If I tried pressing start charging it would come up with rejected error message in red.
I then went out to my car unplugged and plugged it back in and then selected grid mode and could actually press start charging. Which it did. The issue being I watched the charge rate on my dash go straight up to ~ 9.5kw before the charger went into error 18 ( output short )

I don't believe this is a short circuit as the car simply charged at a higher rate than it should. So it must have been an issue with the CP PWM set from the charger. I then power cycled the charger and tried again and it worked as expected. I was also able to drag the max charge slider around and watch the charge rate change on the cars dash.
I then tried putting it in solar mode and nothing happens even when 2+ KW are been exported to the grid. I can press start charging and it starts to charge at the rate set on the slider but this is not exactly a solar export charge mode.
I will contact support as well but I wanted to know if anybody has actually managed to get this to work.
Just to add the firmware is AC_GL1_1.07 set up in config D linked to a gen 1 5kw hybrid serial -SD2148G330 software - D0.450-A0.451
