My 5kw Gen2 inverter is on D0.911-A0.911 and 9.5kw Bat is on 3013. I have a max export limit of 3.68kw restriction from DNO which is configured in the inverter. I notice now that generation is picking up as the generation exceeds 4kw and if the house load is say 300w then there is an export of 3.68kw. If I put the kettle on then the generation will increase to say 5.2kw so i know the inverter has been clipping, thats fine. Problem is that the inverter doesn't seem to be happy to keep generating at a steady rate when clipping. It will dive to 1.2kw for say 10 seconds then build back up to 4kw for say 30 secs then drop again. Sky is clear blue so its not clouds. If however I plug the car in or put the washing machine on to increase the load to stop the clipping then the inverter will generate at a steady rate without the yo-yo down and back up. So it appears to be the clipping that is causing the oscillation. Anyone else noticed same effect?
