Unlimited Cycles

Hi, just wondering how much usable capacity is left on the all in one unit after say a 10 year period with unlimited cycles?

That's the ultimate question. Nobody can truly say but your warranty docs (have they gone from the KB now or am i being thick?) would suggest I think 70% of the original as a minimum.

It's not an apples to apples test but I do have probably some of the older (if not some of the oldest) consumer LFP solar batteries that are now 9 years old and they are running around 80% of original capacity still (was 5.7 now about 4.5kWh)
These are pouch cells and notorious for being a bit "finnicky" and times have moved on. Giv uses Prismatic cells which tend to be less fussy.

PianSom Indeed, its what happens then that I'm curious about, given that one of the cell manufacturers GE use states that the cells should not be used (and should be disabled) once capacity drops to 70% of original capacity/150% of original cell resistance.

Rather suggests that GE batteries stop working once the capacity drops to 70% of original value but nobody knows one way or another yet....
