I have an all electric house powered by GSHP, three phase supply and a 12kw ( 48 panels ) , generating 8.5mwh of power. I'm looking for 45 kW battery capacity Plus. Do I go for several 9kwh batteries across each phase or a 30kw phs system.
Any ideas or thoughts welcome.

NeilT6 i'd go for a pcs system. No reason, other than outside the one fitted at a Premier Inn in Scotland im yet to see another and im curious as to how they tick.

@NeilT6 A couple of questions:
How well-balanced is your installation across the 3 phases? If it's not particularly symmetrical (e.g., GSHP or most PV connected to a single phase ), you might be better off with three AC3s and varying the battery configuration to support the "busiest" phase.
Why 45kWh of storage?
What's your daily consumption during the summer months? Storing more than is needed between sunset and sunrise doesn't justify the extra cost of a bigger battery.
If you're looking to save energy costs in the winter with a ToU tariff, you could be limited by the charge rate and number of hours for the tariff (12kWh for Octopus Go and an AC3).

I think my load is spread across the phases but will check.
The 45 kW is based on a winter load of 49 . In summer the demand is much lower at 20.
I wasn't aware of limit on octopus go, so that's useful to know !

The limit isn't the tatiff, but at what rate the batteries can be charged by a single inverter. That limit is 3kW for Ge inverters, so on normal Octopus "go" you would get 4 hours at 3kW = 12kWH.
A question though - can you get "go" on a 3 phase supply?
