Has the battery calibration option been removed? It used by under Inverter > Remote Control
Due to apparent battery capacity "drift" I was planning on doing a calibration today but the option seems to be missing.

Guess its a engineer only thing now to stop people doing calibrations over and over?
hoggy crap that’s a shame. Was hoping doing a calibration might fix my “drift”. I’m doing a full discharge to grid instead which might help.

Let's hope that improvements to SOC % accuracy/reliability have rendered the option unnecessary. Being able to run a calibration at a time of one's own choosing was a major plus that I will sorely miss if this proves not to be the case.

Why don't you do a timed charge and then discharge via the app? I don't know what battery capacity you have, but assume 2800W for both charge and discharge rates to work out for how long you need to do it.
Does the same thing as the "Calibration routine" anyway, AFAIA.
Woodstock I’ve not had to run a calibration on mine since probably January.
The only thing it does automatically is occasionally top up if the bms detects low voltages and tickles in a kWh of so to get them back up again. (Rare now the sun is working well)
And based on what goes into the battery it’s all fine
Had the SoC plunge thing again yesterday, sat at 20% or so then down to 0% within the space of 5 minutes.
I don't understand why it seems to be a month to 6 week thing for me and a few others whilst most users don't have this issue at all.

anglefire I have been watching my battery voltage versus reported SOC % for a while now and have observed the following ...
When charging, the voltage at which the system reports 100% SOC and stops charging is reducing day by day. The voltage the battery settles down to (after resting at a reported 100% SOC for a while) is also reducing day by day. I am expecting a sudden drop to 0% SOC followed by an automated charge to 4% SOC at some point! This drift may be more apparent on my system as the battery capacity is two to three times my average daily use, so at this time of year the battery is never fully discharging and the reported SOC is not dropping below 75% (although the actual SOC is progressively reducing as the battery stops charging at lower and lower voltages). Long periods of sunny weather are only delaying the inevitable. At some point the battery voltage will have dropped to the point where overnight discharge is enough to trigger the emergency low voltage response. It is going to be a right pain if I cannot run a calibration to reset things when it does.
Woodstock interesting as if I look at my long term battery voltages, the high side - ie 100% is very consistent. However you can clearly see a drift at the lower end when it’s more empty.
It then does a reset when the voltage hits 45v and drops about 1kwh in and takes it back to 4% charged and about 50-51v.

Well it's also been binned from the API as well (404 response) - used to be register 26 which is now non-writable.
So looks like it's over to GE every time you want to do a calibrate.

Hmm I wondering why they have removed it. Not had to use it since the last firmware update but seems odd to remove it.

THALL i can only imagine as it really does take the batteries to 100% DOD they are concerned repeated runs of it would impact warranty claims? Who knows.

hoggy It's when my battery goes to 100% DOD of its own accord that I need to run it!

The Calibration actually reduces the battery to 0% then keep discharging till it hits the lower limit, then sets this as 0%. Then does the same for charge, charges till it thinks its 100%, then keep charging till it hits the higher voltage threshold. Sets this as 100%.
From here it can them work out the 5% and other % needed for SOC
So yes it is stressful on the battery, as you are totally depleting the cells and fully to max charging them. Which isnt healthy
