As per title - Inverter Data -> Meter Data page on portal has two columns which are
Combined Gen Today
Combined Gen Total
Now I'm sure that its something obvious I'm missing but I can't work out either what this is or where the figures come from, except that they're related to PV Gen Today and Consumption Today.
Anyone able to enlighten me?
Vestas I had to ask about that too, recently. Just sum of PV + battery discharge, I think.
DD Its not that. I've tried all the combinations of figures on that page and unless there's a negative element none of them add up.

Combined Gen is simply what comes out of the inverter.

Batt discharge is NOT what comes out the battery.
Rubikcube Fair enough but that's the only combo which adds up.
Vestas How about... PV Gen is all the solar generation, some of which goes to the battery and some of which is sent to AC (on a hybrid inverter). But combined gen is the AC output from the inverter. So, while the battery is not discharging, combined gen is PV gen - battery charge ?
But if you are mostly just charging the battery from solar, then combined gen would be low - just house consumption ?
This is just speculation - I'll look through some historical data to see if I can get something to fit. (It's a pity the meter data is only show to one decimal place - patterns might have been easier to spot with more.)
Vestas I looked a bit more today... Downloading the data, the column header seems to be "Inverter AC Energy Output Today". I think the numbers are the same as what the online view calls "combined gen".
What it adds up to depends on the type of inverter. The heading perhaps makes more sense for a hybrid where the output from the inverter is a combination of what comes from the panels and what comes out of the battery.
If you have a meter on your inverter output it should correlate to that unless you use the EPS in which case combined gen includes the eps but the meter won't.
