As per title, have woken up to a car that’s hardly charged in the past because of this.
Have now run a cat6 cable to it and still showing as offline.

Mine has become useless in the last 2 days. I restart it and I comes online for 10 minutes then it's offline. Tried factory resetting it and it's the same. I can see it's still connected on my Google home app so it might be a givenergy issue.

I can third this. Regardless of my router showing the IP as always connected with almost gigabit speeds, it's extremely temperamental whether it shows up as online or not.

I’ve also been experiencing similar problems. Most of the time when I look on the App or the web portal the charger is saying offline. You can restart the charger and get it to appear online for a short period of time before it goes offline again. The car is meant to start charging on a scheduled charger at 00:30 but when I’ve looked at the graph for the last couple of days it doesn’t appear to have started charging until around 03:30 which isn’t ideal as we only have an hour of cheap charging left at that this point. It is also effecting the solar charging. The car is plugged in and there is surplus Solar (more than 1.4Kw) which could be going into the car but because the charger is appearing as offline it’s not putting it in the car.

Another problem I’ve noticed is that even after restarting the charger some of the options (Solar, hybrid and grid) are not available on the app (all greyed out). If I want to make a change to these I have to do it through the web portal. These options only seem to have been available the first time I used the app and since then they’ve always been unavailable.

We’ve only had the charger for a month or so. I wanted to get a GivEnergy charger as we already had a GivEnergy battery and inverter and I wanted the whole system to work together. When we first had the battery and inverter installed there were a few teething problems but to give GivEnergy credit they did sort them out fairly quickly with a firmware update. I hope they can do something similar here because the charger does not seem to be functioning correctly. Happy to be a guinea pig if anyone at GivEnergy is reading 🙂

My experience is similar. Regular periods offline despite an wifi access point within 3m. I have had a replacement charge point fitted in an attempt to cure a Fault 11 that is being generated by my car (Smart#1) that also requires a charger restart. The new unit made no difference but GE did call me to say they were trying to assemble a fleet of cars for testing purposes and were working on it.

I have the same issue.
Charger was fitted on Monday.
It's showing as offline yesterday & today and there's no way I can see to reset it from the app.

Do you have local control enabled and are you using GivTCP? I was doing that and it kept knocking it offline. Stopped using GivTCP with it, and it's been fine since.

murrad interestingly I do have both of these, however I do not have EVC enabled in GivTCP.
The system has been solid for quite a few days now however.
