Greetings all. Does anyone know where the self-consumption %age comes from in the GE reports? Regardless of what figures I use e.g. total PV, battery to grid etc I can't get to the figure in the report.

Typo From a quick play from an old report from January:
Of the 278.79 solar, 93.57 was to home, 57.21 was to battery, 128.01 was to grid.
Then of the battery, 3.09 went to the grid.
Then (93.57 + 57.21 - 3.09)/278.79 is 52.98% which exactly matches what the report tells me.
(92.06 went from grid to battery, so it's somewhat arbitrary to assume that all the battery to grid was lost solar, rather than re-exported grid.)
For Feb, the same calc gives (74.14+20.01-38.86)/244.68 = 22.60% self-consumption, again matching the report.
In this case, I exported more battery to grid than I had solar to battery, so it is somewhat meaningless. (My tariff favours export over self-consumption, so I aim low.)
DD Does it add up on an "all-time" report? Mine doesn't but I'm not really interested enough to find out why 🙂
Vestas yeah, mine does: (482.40 + 336.94 - 185.61)/1468.29 = 43.16% which matches the report.
