Is it possible to fit a longer cable to the GivEnergy EV Charger as I am finding the 5m cable a little restrictive? Would it affect the warranty?

I can't say about any warrenty issues but all EV Chargers should deliver the power in much the same way and using an extension cable should not be an issue. However, I have no direct experience of a Givenergy charger. We have a Zappi and use a 10 metre extension cable to add to the captive 5 metre cable on the Zappi. There has been no issues or difference between using the Zappi directly or via the extension cable.

killythebid where did you get the extension cable from ? I don't believe standard does not allow for daisy chaining cables like that. Each cable has a resistor from PP to earth so the car knows the max current off the cable. If you have more than one the resistance will drop too low.

Lab140 I think there are several sources online but I got mine from here. It is specifically an extension cable rather than a normal separate charging cable. The normal cable does not work, I tried it.
