Hi, my AIO did a software update yesterday (to version 9). Since then it doesn’t seen to want to charge. Timed change period seem to written but not to start the battery charging.
A bit fustratng with Octopus Agile Plunge pricing and a lot of solar today, the battery has just been slowly discharging.
Anyone else had a similar problem?
Sound like the battery is doing a calibration, and you won’t be able to do anything until complete.
I updated my firmware to 9 but didn’t get a calibration event, same when I went from v6 to v8! How come some do and some don’t.
Firmware 9 update done and guess what sudden drop from 25 % battery to 0% cheers GE for Groundhog day after the firmware 8 update fixing the battery drop outs of firmware 7 .
Regret doing the update now and reaffirms my lack of faith in the company and its capability to do what it says on the label .Not impressed !
Id say give it a few days to bed in first - not that you have much choice it being the weekend
For me its been so far spotless and actually gives me 13.5kwh now and more realistic readings - Tonight Im trying a partial depletion to see if that throws it tomorrow.
Im Battery only though so no solar impacting my data
hobbes1966 I had this as well but it was only for a few minutes, had a red circle in the inverter page and gateway and all in one were blinking green for a few minutes but then everything came on.
I wouldn't judge any drops til it has run a calibration cycle.
DreadorUK snap lol, mine I was forced to do at max speed to try and limit the peak period due to firmware update going wrong and being on hold for 40 minutes after a 40m update cancelled, got up at 10am and got bugger all done as it went from it starting discharge at 12:15 to starting to discharge after 13:30, calibration put 14.6kwh into the battery.
I wanted to do it at 4kwh.
Jase1703 You should, if you didn't you should give them a ring and ask them to start it.
I ran the update overnight 10th -11th April (3 days ago). No apparent problems during or since the update.
Out of interest which firmware goes to 9?
I see D0.607-A0.607 and BMS v8 on my aio

wow, battery %age stopped at 4% instead of 5%

Interesting part is it started the nights charge stating 25% charge but battery output zero .
Will be a recalibration phone call ..

ok im getting a little frustrated now, its slow discharging since midnight and its now 01:56 and in that time of slow discharging its gone up 0.2kwh in charge and up by 1% SOC
