a little different but I ran a yearly report for 2021 and was a little surprised to see the yearly solar generation in the report was 250kwh less than actual generation. Raised this as a bug via feedback.

Looking at my report for a week it would appear that the Battery charge & discharge into the house is not included in the calculation. It looks like it is simply the total house usage and direct generated to the house (no battery energy considered). I would have expected the battery energy to be included as this makes the % self usage much higher and IMHO is the true self usage. Does that work out for your figures? I can't see your screenshot. Although if considering potential charge of battery from grid energy it would be difficult to show as self consumption of energy from solar via the battery if from grid. Perhaps the choice GE have made is correct but not showing it in the best light.

Robert* Thanks for reply. That works out as 56% (ignoring Battery) rather than the 28% shown for me, so still not sure what the calculation is! I'll feedback to GE.

Just heard back from GE. The self consumption percentage is worked out by taking the your total pv generation minus your total export divided by your total pv generation

So in words: The percentage of total PV generation not exported to the grid.
