Since the firmware update on the 12/04/2024 my gateway dose not seem to be communication to the outside world. It is showing as waiting, I ahve tried a remote restart but that fails to reboot it.
The app is also not working.
Gateway showing waiting ststus
Are you sure it really did have a status of something other than 'Waiting' before the update? I have an AIO and obviously a Gateway, the AIO inverter page/section works just fine, always does, but my gateway always has a status of 'Waiting' ever since it was installed. I think its just the norm for these devices, it just appears in the portal as an 'inverter type' device, but it's not really acting as an inverter in the same sense an AIO or a string inverter is...
On my gateway, even with it reporting 'Waiting', If I go to the inverter Information section and look up , say the 'Last Online Time' it does say it was in touch with the portal today. All the other tabs are blank, or rather report valid values of Zero, every 5 mins (PV Data, Grid Data etc)... but if you go to the AIO 'Inverter' page, you can get all this info there...
There is a comms link between the AIO and the gateway, so they both essentially see, use and share the same info.
Do you see any live status values coming from the AIO?
HelenSochon Did you ever get a resolution to this? I have the same issue now - the gateway was on-line at one point but now it says off-line and I cannot connect to it via the app. It is connected to the network and I can see the main admin page so know it is available....
CW Update - I have now resolved this. Basically it meant having to switch off the gateway (so in my case, the AIO, Inverter and then switch off all breakers in the GW including load and grid) - leaving it for a minute or so and then switching everything back on (I followed my shutdown and start up instructions from the installer to do this).
